1. Commitment to Achieving Net Zero Gilead Complete Care Group Ltd is committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, in line with the UK Government’s 2050 Net Zero target.

2. Baseline Emissions Footprint Baseline emissions represent the company’s first full year of measured carbon output before the implementation of formal carbon reduction initiatives. Baseline Year: 2025 Baseline Emissions (tCO2e):

* Scope 1: Direct emissions from company-owned vehicles and gas use (e.g., heating at offices) — 8.5

* Scope 2: Indirect emissions from purchased electricity for office operations — 4.2

* Scope 3: Upstream transport and distribution — 1.5
* Scope 3: Waste generated in operations — 0.8
* Scope 3: Business travel (public transport, taxis, mileage claims) — 2.3
* Scope 3: Employee commuting — 3.6
* Scope 3: Downstream transport and distribution — 0.9 Total Baseline Emissions: 21.8 tCO2e

3. Current Emissions Reporting Reporting
Year: 2025 Since this is the baseline year, the current year emissions are equivalent to the baseline.

* Scope 1: 8.5 tCO2e
* Scope 2: 4.2 tCO2e
* Scope 3: 9.1 tCO2e
Total Current Year Emissions: 21.8 tCO2e 4. Emissions Reduction Targets Gilead Complete Care Group Ltd aims to reduce total emissions by 50% by 2035 and achieve Net Zero by 2050.

To achieve this, we will:

* Transition to hybrid and electric vehicles for service delivery by 2030.
* Introduce remote working and paperless systems to reduce commuting and office emissions.
* Source 100% renewable electricity for all office sites by 2028.
* Implement recycling and waste reduction initiatives (minimum 70% diversion from landfill by 2027).
* Prioritise local recruitment to minimise employee commuting distances.
* Work with suppliers and commissioners to adopt low-carbon procurement and logistics practices.

Projected progress towards Net Zero:

* 2025: Baseline — 21.8 tCO2e
* 2030: -25% — 16.4 tCO2e
* 2035: -50% — 10.9 tCO2e
* 2040: -75% — 5.5 tCO2e
* 2050: Net Zero — 0 tCO2e

5.Carbon Reduction Projects

* Digital Transformation: Implementing digital care records, reducing paper waste and travel for document delivery.

* Hybrid Working: Reducing daily staff commutes and associated emissions.
* Energy Efficiency: LED lighting, smart thermostats, and motion sensors installed in offices.
* Recycling Programme: Segregated waste bins and sustainable office procurement.
* Sustainable Travel Policy: Encouraging car-sharing, cycling, and public transport for staff.

6. Declaration and Approval This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance and reporting standards.
